The First Annual Tastemaker's Ball

November 1, 2008 - Descending on the San Diego Sheraton at Harbor Island, thousands came out to taste the showcase of delectable foods from premier San Diego restaurants, drinks from local breweries and spirits, and check out entertainment featuring The Jones Revival, DJ Advice, Red Bull's hip hop choreographed dance troupe which includes "America's Top Dance Crew" Jabbawockeez, and the Fred Estaire dance studio.

The turnout was such a success the tent was filled to capacity, with latecomers having a hard time getting in the packed house. Good news, since 10% of all ticket sales were donated to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of San Diego to help children with life-threatening medical conditions see their wishes come true.

The Jones Revival hit three sets of music that got the room moving. As the crowd loosened up the dance floor was groovin with some lovely, gritty rock n roll to scratch that eternal itch. Rock and Roll Marathon 2008

June 1, 2008 - When they were running on empty, the runners of this year's San Diego Rock and Roll Marathon got a kick in the pants at Mile 22, courtesy of The Joneses. For runners and spectators from all over the country, Sunday morning started bright and early as over 40 bands and nearly 20,000 athletes took to the streets of San Diego. The cool and cloudy early hours gave way to warmer, clearer conditions by Noon and the masses started to feel the heat. Sharing the Friars Rd stage with local classic rock band, Loss of Control, The Jones Revival lent a helping hand as thousands of appreciative runners made their way around the course's only U-turn.
